My good sir or madam, I write to you today from my country estate, where I am still trembling—not from the chill of autumn, but from a deeply troubling experiment conducted upon my person. It began, as all such catastrophes do, with an Amazon order placed at three in the morning after a fourth glass of sherry. I had read the reviews: 4.7 out of 5 stars from 856 people, many of whom seemed to be using this product for lizards or snakes, but a few—those brave, unnamed pioneers—left me wondering. So naturally, I purchased the Samsung Reptile Heat Lamp amazon review product (ASIN: B0F32F9ZTS) for $34.99, my trembling hands guided by what can only be described as madness.

I shan't mince words: I tested it. Not on my chameleon—whom I love—but on myself. And now I understand why there are 856 reviews and not 857. Allow me to describe the ordeal.

I unwrapped the device, noted its pleasing ceramic construction, and proceeded to—well. I shall be delicate. I placed it in the location one might use for a Samuel Pepys-style enema, only this was no water, no gentle bulb. It was heat. Intense, reptile-appropriate heat. The Samsung Reptile Heat Lamp tested it upon my person for approximately four seconds before I let out a yelp that frightened the cat, the gardener, and possibly a bishop two villages over. I have now, I believe, gone prematurely into a semireclined state. My rump yearns for coolness. It seeks the tender touch of a glacier.

But let us be fair: this device works. The warmth is tremendous, evenly distributed, and terrifyingly effective. For a lizard, it is perfection. For a human seeking adventure in the pet supplies rectal use column of life, it is a death sentence. I do not recommend the use of samsung reptile heat lamp under $34.99 in this manner. Worth it for the lizards. Less worth it for one's dignity.

If you must know, is samsung reptile heat lamp safe? For a basking gecko, yes. For a Victorian nobleman exploring unlicensed bodily applications, no. I have learned a lesson. My gardener has learned a lesson. Even the cat looks at me differently.
