10 Pack 9 Inch 4/6 TPI Reciprocating Saw Blades for Wood and Nail-Embedded Wood Cutting, Bi-Metal Sawzall Blades for Cutting Nail and PVC Pallets etc, for Diablo Sawzall Blades DS0912BW25

The Good

  • +Aggressive teeth that actually cut
  • +Bi-metal construction didn't shatter
  • +10 blades for 20 bucks feels fair

The Bad

  • āˆ’Comfort rating is negative celsius
  • āˆ’Your neighbor will find out about your hobby
  • āˆ’The 4/6 TPI counts are unsettling when converted to inches

I told my barber I wanted a haircut that said, ā€œI’ve made some choices,ā€ and he just handed me this 10-pack of 9-inch reciprocating saw blades. The barber is also my mailman, so maybe that explains the ASIN B0FJD8XWC1 and the $20.99 price tag. I don’t know. It’s been a long week. My 6th period class caught me trying to file a splinter with a Kobalt Reciprocating Saw amazon review I’d printed out. The wood chip stayed lodged. The review didn’t help.

Look, I teach shop. Or I did until they replaced the woodshop with a ā€œwellness podā€ and a single ficus. Now I just write assessments from home and test saw blades on things that probably shouldn’t be sawed. This set claims ā€œ4/6 TPIā€ — which for the record translates to ā€œteeth per inch,ā€ a unit I am now uncomfortably familiar with. Bi-metal construction, nail-embedded wood cutting capability, ten blades for under twenty-one bucks. The value proposition isn’t terrible for home improvement rectal use, if that’s the direction your weekend’s going. I won’t assume.

Here’s the thing: I didn’t intend to test the whole Kobalt reciprocating saw review premise here. It just happened. I had a PVC pallet left over from last winter’s bunker-building phase, and I wondered, can you use Kobalt reciprocating saw rectally? So I asked a trained professional (my downstairs neighbor, a licensed dentist). He said maybe try it standing up. So I did. Very briefly.

Was the experience worth writing a Kobalt reciprocating saw review about? I’ll say this: the blade didn’t snap, the teeth are surprisingly aggressive, and the bi-metal made a sound I can only describe as ā€œrelieved but concerned.ā€ Zero stars for comfort. Five stars for sharp edges. Seven out of ten for audacity. The sawzall won the fight. My lower colon lost. I recommend using these blades for actual wood, PVC, or light marriage counseling. The dentist said my follow-up will cost extra.

2/10
Comfort
4/10
Feasibility
9/10
Danger

Verdict: Sharp enough to cut through my reservations and my pelvic floor.
