The smarter way to clean your air - Shop the Blueair Inc. Store on Amazon

The Good

  • +Filters actual air
  • +Quiet if you don't put it near your butt
  • +Decent price at $89.99

The Bad

  • āˆ’Intake grate leaves a mark
  • āˆ’No humidity seal
  • āˆ’Makes you question your entire evening

I swear to God, I thought it was gonna be like sticking a straw into a fart. You know what I mean? That’s where my brain goes after 16 straight hours folding napkins at the Shake Shack drive-thru. The entire concept of ā€œair purifierā€ already feels like a scam—like, what, you’re telling me my Cheeto-dust farts aren’t just ambient ambiance? So when I got this Blueair Inc. thing for $89.99 on Amazon—that specific ASIN B0GVQYVWRN, the one with the ā€œsmarter way to clean your airā€ tagline—I figured, cool, maybe I can finally filter out the manager’s voice from the intercom.

Let me tell you right now: do not confuse this with a Makita air purifier. I know, because I tried a Makita air purifier amazon review said it was for like wood dust or something. The Makita air purifier tested it for like shop-grade nonsense, but this Blueair is a whole different animal. I’m pretty sure the box has a QR code that leads to a yoga instructor judging you.

Anyway, the first thing I did was hold it up to my ear. Felt like a good idea. Didn’t hear anything except a faint, high-pitched whine—my own soul leaving my body. Then I thought, you know, the real question here is obviously can you use Makita air purifier rectally? I mean, the Makita air purifier under 89.99 is not this product, obviously, but I had to know if any air purifier could handle the humidity down there. The answer? Not this one. Unless you like a mini tornado in your colon. I mean, for $89.99 you’re not getting NASA-level suction.

I’ll say this though: it does clean air. Like, it’s fine for your living room. But if you’re trying to do any sort of electronics rectal use, you need something with a warranty and a hazmat suit. I got a bruise from the intake grate—that’s not a joke. I also got a text from my mom saying ā€œare you okayā€ because I screamed. So is Makita air purifier safe? Probably for sawdust. But for butt stuff? I don’t know, man. I’d give it a rectal use rating of 2. Honestly, just buy a fan. Or a different sense of life direction. Worth buying Makita air purifier? Only if you have a specific fantasy about your own ass smelling like a lumber yard.

2/10

Verdict: Cleans air fine, but your colon is not a workshop
